Netra Tarpana is a rejuvenating Ayurvedic eye treatment. It helps to relieve the tension and dryness of the eye sockets, which is a cause of poor eyesight, fatigue, irritation, and sunken, puffy eyes.
The eyes are “bathing” in a warm/room temperature herbal ghee for a certain period. The patient is asked to open and close the eyes slowly and intermittently. It nourishes the eyes, alleviates dryness, discomfort and pressure in the eyes.
